What is an EchoCode?

An EchoCode is a short keyword used to allow customer-initiated actions through text messaging. For example, if you set up the EchoCode ECHO you could direct customers to text ECHO to 2626-00-2626 in order for them to be subscribed and opted-in. When users subscribe via this method they are asked for the first and last name and Contact is created for them using this data. You can set up your EchoCode under My Account. A client's EchoCode could also be used to interact with the Waitlists SMS app. A customer could text "ECHO WAITLISTS" to 2626-00-2626 in order to start the process of being added to a client's waitlist.
