Understanding EchoWord Types

Global EchoWord

  • Displayed in a separate card at the top
  • Used for TCR compliance and global opt-ins
  • One per campaign
  • Texted to global phone number

Campaign EchoWords

  • Displayed in a table below the global EchoWord
  • Campaign-specific keywords
  • Multiple can be created

Organizing EchoWords

Naming Conventions

Use clear, descriptive codes to make EchoWords easy to identify:

  • By Purpose: "JOIN", "INFO", "SALE"
  • By Campaign: "EVENT2024", "SALE2024"
  • By Action: "REGISTER", "SUBSCRIBE", "DEALS"

Best Practices

  • Use codes that clearly indicate their purpose
  • Follow consistent naming patterns
  • Include context when helpful (dates, campaign names)
  • Avoid generic codes like "CODE1" or "TEST"

Managing Status

Live EchoWords

  • Active and processing matches
  • Shown with green "Live" status
  • Recipients can use these keywords

Paused EchoWords

  • Inactive and not processing matches
  • Shown with orange "Paused" status
  • Recipients won't trigger actions
  • Can be reactivated anytime

When to Pause

  • Campaign is temporarily inactive
  • Testing or maintenance
  • Seasonal campaigns between seasons

How to Delete

  1. Go to the EchoWords list
  2. Find the EchoWord you want to delete
  3. Click the Delete button (trash icon) or use the dropdown menu
