Viewing All EchoWords
EchoWords List
The EchoWords list shows:
- Global EchoWord - Your globally unique keyword (if configured)
- Campaign EchoWords - All campaign-specific keywords in a table
- Keyword Code - The actual code recipients text
- Phone Number - Associated phone number
- Status - Live or Paused
- Opt-in Actions - Autoresponder and contact groups configured
- Actions - Edit and Delete options
Accessing the List
- Navigate to your campaign dashboard
- Click on EchoWords in the campaign menu
- View all EchoWords for that campaign
Understanding EchoWord Types
Global EchoWord
- Displayed in a separate card at the top
- Used for TCR compliance and global opt-ins
- One per campaign
- Texted to global phone number
Campaign EchoWords
- Displayed in a table below the global EchoWord
- Campaign-specific keywords
- Multiple can be created
- Texted to campaign phone numbers
Organizing EchoWords
Naming Conventions
Use clear, descriptive codes to make EchoWords easy to identify:
- By Purpose: "JOIN", "INFO", "SALE"
- By Campaign: "EVENT2024", "SALE2024"
- By Action: "REGISTER", "SUBSCRIBE", "DEALS"
Best Practices
- Use codes that clearly indicate their purpose
- Follow consistent naming patterns

Managing Status
Live EchoWords
- Active and processing matches
- Shown with green "Live" status
- Recipients can use these keywords
Paused EchoWords
- Inactive and not processing matches
- Shown with orange "Paused" status
- Recipients won't trigger actions
- Can be reactivated anytime
When to Pause
- Campaign is temporarily inactive
- Testing or maintenance
- Seasonal campaigns between seasons
- Reorganizing campaign structure
Deleting an EchoWord
When to Delete
- EchoWord is no longer needed
- Replacing with a new version
- Cleaning up unused EchoWords
- Removing outdated campaigns
How to Delete
- Go to the EchoWords list
- Find the EchoWord you want to delete
- Click the Delete button (trash icon) or use the dropdown menu
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog
- EchoWord is permanently removed
Warning: Deleting an EchoWord will remove it permanently. Recipients who text the deleted code will not trigger any actions. The code cannot be reused immediately.
Before Deleting
- Check if the EchoWord is actively being promoted
- Consider if you need to create a replacement
- Verify the EchoWord isn't in use elsewhere
- Make sure you have a plan for recipients who might still use it
